Tesla Model 3 is not a cheap car, but it doesn’t come with power lift doors and trunks. Rather unbelievable, don’t you think? This struct set is easy to install, and does not require cables. Open your frunk via the Tesla app or the “button” on your screen.
Unlike some old product which opens the cover with a strong force at the end, potentially damaging the frunk / trunk cover, these new struts have a soft-opening effect. For most people, this is the most cost-efficient solution comparing to the power lift gate.
Note: Due to the nature of this product (compressed air), when the temperature is low, the struts works softer. It gives more power during warmer days which could be a bit different than shown in the video.
