As you all know, we at Team Plugear love to work with our community and engage in fun activities together! We reached out to a UK Facebook group for Ford Mustang Mach-E owners and asked the group leader, Jake, if he would be interested in collaborating with us. Thankfully, he agreed to our proposal, and together we brainstormed the best way to host a giveaway in his group.

We decided on a fun picture contest! Participants could submit three different types of photos to enter the competition. To help explain it all, the lovely wife of the group leader created a beautiful banner for us!

As you can see on the banner, each winner will receive a €100 gift code for our webshop (converted to £80 for our British friends).

Additionally, we wanted to offer the group a special discount code for all members to use, so we created a personalized 5% discount code specifically for the Mach-E group that can be redeemed in our webshop.

The contest

Honestly, the contest started off a bit slow, with only a few participants responding to the initial message. However, as the competition progressed, it became fierce, and many people submitted some fantastic pictures! Choosing the winners was quite challenging, but our five judges managed to select the top three after some intense discussion.

The picture of the Ford Mustang Mach E

In the first category of the competition, we received several outstanding pictures of the Ford Mustang Mach-E, making it a tough choice for the judges to select a winner. However, we ultimately reached a conclusion! Here’s a gallery showcasing the stunning entries we received!

As you can see, the competition was quite tough, but there could only be one winner. We chose the picture submitted by Ian of his red Mustang Mach-E! The lighting and overall vibe of the photo were simply brilliant. He truly captured the car’s aesthetics and made it look badass! Here is the winning picture!

For the drawing, we had only two participants, but we were truly impressed by the artwork submitted by their children! The first picture is from Yen, featuring a beautiful black Mustang Mach-E parked on the beach next to a lovely water scene. Just look at the fantastic detail she put into the stars!

The second entry is from Aaron and created by his talented 7-year-old daughter, Amelie. It’s such an impressive work of art for her age! Just look at how she captured the body lines and even the rims, not to mention the little details in the headlights. Daddy’s Mustang Mach-E is parked in a lovely forest surrounded by lush green trees, just as it should be!

The drawing of the red Mustang Mach-E by Aaron and Amelie was the winner in this category. While both drawings are truly works of art and beautifully crafted, we firmly believe that a bright future in the arts awaits them!

What we loved most about the drawings is that both cars are depicted in a natural environment. Our main focus is to promote green driving to help save the planet in the long term, so this aligns perfectly with our vision!

The most liked picture

For the most liked picture, we had quite a few judges. We selected the image from the group that had received the most likes up to that point, and the winner was Spencer! His photo features his Mustang Mach-E alongside his friends.

As Jake wisely said, “I guess three Mach-E’s are just better than one!”

Final

In the end, we decided to award all the participants with a €10 coupon code to thank them for their efforts! We truly enjoyed the experience of hosting this event with such a wonderful Facebook group dedicated to one of our car brands. We would love to collaborate with more groups focused on EVs, as connecting with our community and doing fun activities together is what makes our work most enjoyable! 🙂
